motive8 Kids Party - Marble Hill July 2011

motive8 held an after school party (3:30pm to 5:00pm) for a large group of children who had just finished school for the Summer holidays; the children were aged 5 years and the client requested an obstacle course and games-themed party.

The party included a range of activities suitable for the younger age range including: Musical Statues, Dragons Treasure, Domes and Dishes, an Obstacle Course, Froggy-Froggy, The Hokey-Cokey Dance and a Relay Race.

Our coach, Adam Field, recounts the party:

“We all arrived at the party half an hour early; this allowed us enough time to set up any activities that we had planned for the party and also to run through what we would be doing to fill the hour and half that the parents had paid for.

We greeted the parents on their arrival and gave them a brief insight as to what we would be doing. They were all happy with this and were amazed at what we were going to do. The birthday boy was also getting very excited for the start. His friends finally started to arrive and then, at 3:30pm, the party began.

We started with musical statues which allowed the children to get into party mode ready for all the exciting things planned. We then moved onto the other activities as mentioned above, which the children really enjoyed, starting each activity with beaming smiles.

The hour and a half went extremely quickly and, by the time we looked at our watches, it was 4.55pm and we still had to do the medal ceremony that the parents requested as part of their booking.

As soon as the medals appeared the group went mad, with smiles from ear to ear, jumping about. One-by-one they came up to receive their medals, after which we said our goodbyes. Before we left, the father came over and complimented us on our delivery”
