Project Case Study

Forest Place, Walthamstow

Barratt East London

Walthamstow is a solid east London neighbourhood, which is very well placed for the Olympic action. Situated close to Wood Street Station and within easy reach of the town centre, Barratt Homes’ Forest Place scheme is set to be one of the premier new homes development in the area.

Forest Place is a gated development of fabulous one and two-bedroom apartments. The homes are built to a high specification to include designer fitted kitchen, spacious living/dining room (many with balconies), master bedroom with en suite facility to many designs, concierge and landscaped gardens.

To further complement the modern feel of the development, Barratt opted to include a residents-only onsite gym, further adding to the development’s already growing appeal. With such a large expanse of apartments, the gymnasium was destined for high usage numbers and therefore needed a selection of equipment that would both stand up to the test and suit the training requirements of a diverse variety of residents.

As the gymnasium is fairly spacious, we were able to install a comprehensive selection of Life Fitness cardiovascular equipment alongside strength and resistance apparatus to provide a full body workout. There is also floor matting for stretching and Swiss balls for core stability exercises.   The gym is open 7 days a week and utilises a secure key fob access system to ensure exclusivity for residents as well as an enjoyable and comfortable workout environment at all times.
