Aftercare at The Gateway, Leeds

Located in central Leeds, this award-winning project houses in excess of 500 residents, 20 commercial units and now, a 1200 square foot gymnasium featuring state-of-the-art equipment in a spacious and modern environment. As motive8’s first mixed-use development installation, the Gateway proved to be one of our most exciting gym design projects.

Upon completion of the facility motive8 was employed to maintain the equipment, ensuring that both the developer and end users continued to get long term value for money.

Our quarterly maintenance contracts are designed to keep equipment in full working order, reducing the cost of unforeseen callouts and extending the lifespan of the equipment. This has been successfully achieved at The Gateway, with uninterrupted access being enjoyed by all residents since opening.

Another service we offer is gym inductions. This involves a half an hour session with one of motive8’s personal trainers, who will demonstrate how best to use the equipment from both a training and health and safety point of view. Residents are also encouraged to call us at any time after the induction if they are unsure of how to use any of the equipment.

Now, 3 years on, motive8 has delivered over 850 inductions to new tenants and purchasers, demonstrating the popularity of having such a facility on site. Many residents have confirmed that their decision to live in the Gateway over neighbouring developments was heavily influenced by the fact they would have access to a residents-only facility.

The Gateway continues to be one of the our most popular facilities, with average monthly induction numbers of ten or more.
